SAN FRANCISCO - CAL TRAIN Experience, Fishermen's Wharf and The Golden Gate Bridge
My first time taking the Cal-train from San Bruno into the San Francisco City, I remember the fare for the Cal-train is pretty expensive, and if you're travelling with 2 pax, it'll be better for you to travel by Car into the City because you'll only be paying the parking fee which is about $20 for the whole day for weekends. Anyway we went ahead because it's a good experience. You can check out the website and fares at: http://www.caltrain.com/
Fishmen's Wharf - The famous Pier 39 where you can see lots of Sea Lions sunbathing on the wooden decks. Unfortunately, we didn't see many of them that day. I guess it's not the season yet.
Famous Golden Gate Bridge. The view is absolutely gorgeous. Luckily it was a clear sunny day, and we were able to take a great picture with the bridge behind. For this location, you need to cross the golden gate bridge from the city, and entering the Saucilito City, Marin County. Then either walk up, drive up or cycle up to the top of the hill. For us, we drove up, which is the first exit after the golden gate bridge.
Thanks to my husband's colleague, Eugene, who brought us to this secret hidden gem. This is a hidden gem taken from Treasure Island. Take the exit to Treasure Island and turn on the first right to go up the hills. And go all the way up, you will then see a few spots with this gorgeous pretty view.
